Even though Darius Rucker is has a red-hot career and happy home life, he's going to be a bit depressed beginning Feb. 7.

"It's going to be a big letdown for me around 10:00 PM that night," Darius tells ESPN. "That's when football season will end, after the Super Bowl. See, there are two times of the year: football season and waiting for football season. Why can't they play pro football Wednesday through Sunday?"

The self-proclaimed sports nut -- who also swings a mean golf club -- has also gotten addicted to fantasy football and even won this year's championship over his band and crew. "I wear this 'Fantasy Football Legend' T-shirt on tour, just to rub it in," explains Darius.

And while the singer usually watches the Super Bowl in person, he'll be spending the weekend at home watching the big game, since he's off the road for a few days. He even has what he calls a "Man Cave" with six televisions ranging from 42 inches to 70 inches. "We're just going to sit there and watch," says the South Carolina native. "I hope it's a good game. In my heart, I don't really care who wins, but I think the [Indianapolis] Colts probably will do it."

Darius is currently sitting in the Top 10 on the country charts with his latest single, 'History in the Making.'
