His new album, 'Charleston, SC 1966' debuted at the top of the country album charts, and now Darius Rucker's latest single, 'Come Back Song,' has landed at No. 1 on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard country singles charts.

The rest of the Top 3 is split. On Mediabase, Sugarland's 'Stuck Like Glue' is No. 2, followed by last week's chart-topper, Easton Corbin's 'Roll With It.' On the Billboard chart, it's the Zac Brown Band's 'As She's Walking Away' with Alan Jackson at No. 2, while Sugarland lands at No. 3.

Daris says 'Come Back Song' is basically the follow-up to his first country hit, 'Don't Think I Don't Think About It.' "After that guy was such a badass and he left, and he was so cool, and [now] he's sitting in his house going, 'Wow! What did I just do?,'" he says with a laugh. "One of my favorite lines in the song, one of my favorite lines I've ever written, was 'You're on the feel-good side of leaving,' because that is such a great way to say of, there's always a point when a relationship's over where you're OK with it, and that's where she is in the song. She's on the feel good side of leaving. I mean, I really like that."

Darius will perform his current hit, 'Come Back Song,' along with many others when he takes the stage in Greenvillle, S.C., on Thursday, October 28. Click here for more Darius Rucker tour dates.
