Craig Morgan, the Next Chris Rock?

Craig Morgan wants to be in movies. The country singer says he would never pass up an opportunity to increase his fan base, especially if it offers him the chance to do something he has always wanted to do.

"I think acting would be fun," Morgan says. "I see guys like Jackie Chan and Chris Rock and some of the stuff that they do and think, 'God, I'd love to hang out with those guys and make a movie with them!'"

Despite the fact that Morgan admits he doesn't know a lot about acting, he has an inside track right in his own backyard. He may be able to take a few lessons from his kids, who seem to be a step ahead of him when it comes to being a thespian.

"I have kids that are taking acting lessons, so rather than pay for me to do it, too, and not be cool, I let them go. Then they come back and tell me everything they've learned," Morgan says with a laugh.

While he's waiting on that first movie role, Morgan is doing what he does best -- watch his new single head up the charts. 'God Must Really Love Me' follows in the footsteps of his debut single for RCA, 'Love Remembers.' Both are from his first album for the label, 'That's What.'
