Congratulations to Clare Bowen! On Saturday (Oct. 21), the star of CMT's Nashville married her fiance, fellow musician Brandon Robert Young.

Bowen and Young said "I do" in Nashville just a little less than two years after Young proposed to Bowen on the stage of the Ryman Auditorium as she performed at the Grand Ole Opry in December of 2015. According to Us Weekly, which reports the news of Bowen and Young's nuptials, the couple's plans to get married were postponed shortly after their engagement, when Bowen found out that her brother had been diagnosed with cancer. He is now in remission.

In addition to her role as Scarlett O'Connor on Nashville, Bowen is currently working on a solo project of her own alongside recording legend (and former Nashville executive music producer) T Bone Burnett. On that project, Bowen will debut a few songs that she's written with Young. Young is also a musician, making tunes that Bowen describes as "Sun Records-style love songs."

Bowen will return to TV screens when Nashville makes its Season 6 premiere on CMT in January.
