Two of the stars of the TV show 'Nashville' will be releasing their own albums next year. Sam Palladio, who plays Gunnar Scott, and Clare Bowen, who plays his ex-girlfriend Scarlett O'Connor, each plan to release solo records in 2015.

"This job has been such an incredible platform for me. It's developed my music and my style," Palladio tells Rolling Stone Country. "I'm really close to my first record. The songs are done; I've been writing like crazy over the last few years. So I'm really excited to press the 'go' button on that and, in the next six months or so, have people hear my original stuff."

The British actor says the new record will be a mix of some of his favorite styles.

"I've been influenced by Americana and country while I've been here [in Nashville]," he says, "but there's a lot of rock in there."

Meanwhile, the Australian-born Bowen, who is a classically trained vocalist, teamed up with producer (and former 'Nashville' musical producer) T Bone Burnett to record her first album.

"We've recorded a couple things, and I've been writing and writing and writing," she says. "I've met some wonderful people who are generous with their time and creativity. That's the way Nashville is as a city."

While Bowen hopes to release the record next year, she insists she won't rush the project.

"It's my first album," she adds. "I've never done anything like this, so I want it to be me."

Meanwhile, Palladio and Bowen, along with several of their co-stars, including Hayden Panettiere, Connie Britton, Charles Esten and Jonathan Jackson, can be heard on the new 'Christmas With Nashville' record. The album, which was produced by Rascal Flatts' Jay DeMarcus, is available for purchase here.

'Nashville' airs on Wednesday nights at 10 PM ET on ABC.
