Chris Young Gets Big Boost from Little Jimmy Dickens

Little Jimmy Dickens may be the man Chris Young wants to be when he grows up. Chris, who stands over six feet tall, says the Opry legend, who is four-foot-11, made him feel bigger than life at his recent appearance at the Grand Ole Opry.

"I've gotten very lucky that they've let me perform on the Opry several times," says a humble Chris. "As many times as I've played, it never gets old, it's always exciting. The other night, having Little Jimmy Dickens introduce me and just say a bunch of really nice things about me before I went on ... it just kind of hit me. I don't really know why, but was just one of those really special moments."
