'American Idol' phenom Carrie Underwood will release the as-yet-untitled follow-up to her 2005 debut, 'Some Hearts,' on Oct. 23.

While 'Some Hearts' has sold more than five million copies, thanks in part to hit songs like 'Jesus Take the Wheel,' and 'Before He Cheats,' the 24-year-old singer remains modest despite her newfound celebrity.

"I still don't consider myself a 'celebrity' at all," she told PopEater during her Sessions performance. "A lot of times I forget, and I'll be walking to the mall or at Wal-Mart or something, and someone will come up to me and be like, 'Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh!' But I think it's important for me to try as much as possible to do the things I would normally do."

Underwood is currently on tour and will be performing at this year's Fashion Rocks event, airing on Sept. 7 at 9pm ET on CBS.
