It seems appropriate that for her newest song, 'Something in the Water,' Carrie Underwood would hearken back to her first No. 1 country tune, 'Jesus Take the Wheel.'

The first single off her newly announced 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1' album showcases the mother-to-be's Christian faith with lyrics like, "Got joy in my heart, angels on my side / Thank God almighty, I saw the light / Gonna look ahead no turning back / Live everyday giving all that I have / Trust in someone bigger than me / Ever since the day that I believed."

“It’s really kind of a joyous, uplifting song about changing your life for the better and kind of having that ‘a-ha’ moment, to waking up and your life being different from that moment forward,” Underwood says of the song.

A track list has not been announced, but there's a chance 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1' could feature more songs like 'Something in the Water.' Underwood says the project is a "new version" of herself.

“It’s just a progression, a different sound without losing myself in it," she adds. "I’m not taking some crazy musical departure from what I’ve done, but it definitely feels different. It will feel different, look different, sound different.”

'Greatest Hits: Decade #1' will be released on Dec. 9. 'Something in the Water' is available for download here.
