Carrie Underwood returns as co-host, along with Brad Paisley, of the CMA Awards for the eighth year in a row in 2015, and even though the "Smoke Break" singer is now a seasoned veteran at co-hosting the live televised broadcast, she admits that parts of the evening still make her nervous.

“Sometimes Brad goes off script, but then the script has me saying something that now doesn’t make sense with what he said. So that’s a fear," Underwood reveals to Taste of Country. "I’m like, ‘Read the teleprompter!’"

The hosts have been known to poke fun at some of their fellow celebrities, but Underwood says that she'll draw the line if she feels that a joke goes too far.

“There have been a couple of things where I might not have been comfortable being a part of it," she explains. "Where I was like, ‘If you guys wanna do that, put it on a different segment when I’m changing my clothes.’

“They can’t make me say anything I don’t want to say or be a part of something I don’t want to be a part of,” Underwood adds.

This year, Underwood is nominated for two CMA Awards, for Female Vocalist of the Year and Music Video of the Year, for "Something in the Water." In addition to her hosting duties, she will also be performing during the awards show.

The 2015 CMA Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 4, at 8PM ET on ABC. Underwood is set to embark on her Storyteller Tour in January, in support of her latest album, Storyteller. The record is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes.
