
Carrie Underwood Wins 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Female Artist — Country
Carrie Underwood received the 2014 American Music Award for Favorite Female Artist -- Country at a ceremony Sunday night (Nov. 23).
The win was Underwood's eighth American Music Award, though only her second for Favorite Female Artist -- Country. She beat out Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves for the honor.
Underwood's win was not televised; it's unclear if the mother-to-be attended the ceremony.
Underwood will release her 'Greatest Hits: Decade #1' on Dec. 9.
