Brooks & Dunn have enlisted a an all-star cast of country artists for a new duets project. Reboot will feature the iconic duo performing some of their biggest hits with the genre's stars of today.

According to a press release, Reboot will feature Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn performing their most well-known songs with Kacey Musgraves, Kane Brown, Thomas Rhett, Brett Young, Lanco, Ashley McBryde, Midland, Luke Combs, Brothers Osborne, Cody Johnson, Jon Pardi and Tyler Booth. A full track list is not yet available, but according to an iTunes listing, Brown will be singing "Believe," and Combs will be covering "Brand New Man;" both tracks will be out on Friday (Feb. 8).

“This whole experience has been humbling to say the least. What a cool rush to hear somebody do one of your tunes in a unique way, and it still holds up. That’s the greatest compliment you can get as an artist,” says Dunn. Adds Brooks, "It makes you feel good that these acts were inspired by us in some small way."

Reboot is due out on April 5. The project will be Brooks & Dunn's first since 2007's Cowboy Town. The duo famously announced in 2009 that they were splitting up, after more than 20 years together; their Last Rodeo Tour concluded on Sept. 3, 2010, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

“Nothing lasts forever,” Brooks explained at the time. “We’ve had this process of making records and getting ready for tours year after year … When we were going through, trying to get an album together this year, putting songs back and forth, and the push and pulling, it hit us both: We’ve done all kinds of music you can think of, done every way we could think of doing it for 20 years. We’ve worn this thing every way we know how to wear it! We realized at that point, this may be it."

Added Dunn, "Differences, over the long run, are what make it work. You’ve got to have that room. Neither one of us are breathing the other’s air.”

After Brooks & Dunn's split, both men embarked on solo careers. The duo reunited in 2015 for a still-running Las Vegas residency, along with their good friend Reba McEntire.
