The Dave Matthews Band first released "Come Tomorrow" as the title track of its most recent album, which dropped in May of 2018. While that original version featured Brandi Carlile on backing vocals, the group is now sharing a new version of the song as a full-fledged duet.

Brimming with optimism, the song calls for a brighter future with the children of the world leading the way. The band's eponymous frontman kicks things off with the first verse. In the second verse, Carlile and Matthews trade off lines before merging their voices for a soaring return to the chorus. Press play above to listen!

"It was an honor to lend my voice to Dave Matthew's Band's prophetic vision," Carlile said in a press release of the experience of making the track. "Dave Matthews has one of the most iconic voices of our generation."

The duet drops in the midst of a busy and prolific season in Carlile's career. The singer has been collaborating with iconic artists across the spectrum, from her producer role in Tanya Tucker's forthcoming album, While I'm Living, to her appearance on Sheryl Crow's new record, Threads.

The exciting team-ups don't stop there. The singer also recently introduced fans to a new supergroup, the Highwomen, which includes Maren Morris, Amanda Shires, Natalie Hemby and a rotating cast of "honorary Highwomen" as well as Carlile herself. In June of 2019, Carlile revealed that the group has finished their first album and has a single planned for release in July, and that the foursome are working on plans for a tour.
