Brad Paisley's been spending so much time on the road with his American Saturday Night tour lately, that one can hardly blame him for talking about how much he loves spending time at home. Brad spoke to The Boot recently about his family's somewhat secluded life outside Nashville, so naturally when he talked to the Los Angeles Times, the subject of his second home in Pacific Palisades, Calif. -- with wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley and boys Huck and Jasper -- came up. So did movies and Mexican food.

"Because we split our time [between the two places], it always seems as if we have to make sure to cram in certain things we want to do," says Brad, "and going to Lares [Restaurant] on Pico [Blvd.] is always one of them. That place is killer, some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. I had my bachelor party dinner there. It wasn't that wild of a party, unless by wild you mean spicy food."

Brad adds that the movie theaters in Music City don't measure up to those in Tinsel Town. "What I miss when we're back in Nashville is the movie theaters here and the choices you have. If you want to see films like 'Paper Heart' or 'District 9' or even '(500) Days of Summer' right when they come out, you're out of luck if you're back in Nashville, but out here it's easy. We could spend every night of the week catching up on indie films when we're out here."

Brad also jokes that "if you want wheat grass blended in your drink, you can get it. Try asking for that in Nashville."

Somehow we doubt that the West Virginia native has ever tried that in Nashville (or anywhere!)
