Brad Paisley Fulfills Dying Man’s Last Wish

A Pennsylvania man had his last wish fulfilled by Brad Paisley at the singer's tour stop in Hershey on Saturday (Oct. 6). Lee Feldman, who has terminal pancreatic cancer, has been rather worried about who would inherit his most-prized possession: a custom-made guitar. (Watch the news report below.)

"I had a dream," Lee told local TV station WPMT/Harrisburg. "I thought, 'Who can I find that can play the frets off a guitar? And a voice said, 'Brad Paisley.'"

That prompted Lee to contact the singer-songwriter. The pair met prior to Brad's tour stop this weekend, and accepted this precious gift.

The "Southern Comfort Zone" singer even shared how pancreatic has affected his own life, by telling of his grandfather, Warren, who not only taught Brad how to play guitar, but also died of the disease.

The guitar slinger also promised to play the instrument on his next album. "That's the greatest thing," Lee admits. "I don't want that guitar to be a trophy. I don't want it to sit and collect dust. I want someone to play it, and that's why I gave it to him."

As for Brad, according to the TV station, someone from his camp reached out on Monday to check on Lee's condition. The road warrior is headed to Arkansas this week, with a stop in Little Rock on Thursday (Oct. 11). Get a list of tour dates here.
