Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Alabama and several other big names in country music will make history in Canada this summer. They are set to perform at the inaugural Boots and Hearts Country Music Festival, the largest country music festival of its kind ever to take place in the country.

The three-day event is set for Aug. 10 - 12 at the Candadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario (about an hour east of Toronto), and boasts a lineup of more than 20 acts, along with tailgates, cookouts and other activities. Kid Rock joins Carrie, Tim and Alabama as a headliner. Also on the bill are Lauren Alaina, Big & Rich, Paul Brandt, High Valley, Jason McCoy, Dallas Smith and Canaan Smith, with more artist announcements coming soon.
