Blake Shelton Warns His Temporary L.A. Neighbors
Blake Shelton is spending more and more time on the West Coast, thanks to his duties as a coach on the NBC hit series, 'The Voice.' Instead of forking out a ton of cash for extended hotel stays, he decided to rent a house in Los Angeles. Being the outdoorsy guy that he is, as well as someone who doesn't have any problems speaking his mind, he has a little warning for his neighbors.
"I'm going to be living in L.A. for a month doing this show, which should be a lot of fun and interesting," Blake tells The Boot. "I'll probably piss some people off when they catch me in the yard shooting pigeons and squirrels and stuff, because I know there's a lot of tree-huggers out there. [laughs]"
Starting next week the show will air live with the audience having the last say on which contestant stays and which one goes home. Catch all the action on Tuesday (June 7) beginning at 10:00 PM ET/PT.
It was previously announced that 'The Voice' will return for a second season next year, and all four coaches are expected to be back in their red swivel chairs. The show even secured the coveted time slot following the 2012 Super Bowl.
Blake, who has been in L.A. for rehearsals in preparation of next week's episode of 'The Voice,' is set to hit the road on Brad Paisley's H20 II: Wetter & Wilder World tour Friday (June 3) in Virginia Beach, Va. Check here for more information on Blake's tour dates.
