Blake Shelton & Cee Lo Green Collaborating on New Tune

Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine have moves like Jagger, and their fellow 'Voice' coaches, Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green, may be making a similar move of their own.

"I have a song I'm trying to get Blake on right now as we speak," Cee Lo admits in a promotional ad for 'The Voice.' "I'm supposed to go into the studio sometime soon."

"I think it would surprise you how good it would sound, me and Cee Lo together," Blake adds. "In fact, we're working on a song together. True story ... How cool would that be to sing with Cee Lo on a record? That would be awesome. I'm gonna do it."

Despite her frequent jabs at Blake on the show, Christina may be a little envious of Cee Lo's duet with the country superstar. "Coming from the pop world, I don't interact so much on a regular basis with country, and the one-of-a-kind Blake Shelton, but I've become kind of a fan," she admits. "It's strange, but true ... It's good to work with true talent."

The Maroon 5 frontman says he has also become an unlikely fan of Blake. "I sang 'Honey Bee' all summer. It's stuck in my head like a disease," Adam reveals. "Thanks a lot for that one, Blake."

The second season of 'The Voice' will debut this Sunday, Feb. 5, immediately after Super Bowl XLVI. The 'Honey Bee' singer says he's already decided his strategy for Team Blake.

"I am picking polarizing voices," the country superstar explains to The Boot. "That really worked out well for me last time around. There were a lot of great singers on that show, but there was only one Dia [Frampton] and one Xenia (Blake's top two contestants on the inaugural season). They are so different from any other voices you ever hear. That's what the show means to me. I think to Christina, it probably means someone with a huge range. That's the cool thing about having artists be the coaches -- we all have a different vision for what 'The Voice' is. I think it will become even more dynamic this year, as far as how different each one of our teams are. Now we know what we're looking for and how to go about the game we play."

Blake recently took time off from his Well Lit & Amplified tour to mourn the loss of his father, Dick Shelton, who passed away after a lengthy illness. The 35-year-old singer will head to Pennsylvania on Thursday, Feb. 9, followed by stops in West Virginia and Kentucky. See his concert schedule here.

Blake will head to Indiana on Sunday, Feb. 5, to perform 'America the Beautiful' with wife Miranda Lambert prior to kick-off. He will also share the stage with Glen Campbell and the Band Perry at the Grammy Awards on Feb. 12, honoring the 'Rhinestone Cowboy' singer's Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Blake himself is nominated for two Grammy awards, for Best Country Solo Performance for 'Honey Bee' and Best Country Album for 'Red River Blue.' The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will air live from Los Angeles' Staples Center, Feb. 12 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
