Blackberry Smoke Join With Gov't Mule for Summer Tour

Blackberry Smoke and Gov't Mule will be hitting the road together during the summer of 2016. The two groups will play together, on a trek dubbed the Smokin' Mule Tour, throughout August.

The Smokin' Mule Tour is scheduled to kick off on Aug. 11 in Portland, Maine. The two bands will then head to places such as Philadelphia, Pa., and Des Moines, Iowa, among many others, before wrapping up in Morrison, Colo., on Aug. 25. The trek has 10 stops scheduled in total; a complete list of dates and venues is below.

Blackberry Smoke and Gov't Mule have never toured together before, but they are familiar with each other: They played a show together in Boston back in 2014, and Gov't Mule's Warren Haynes joined Blackberry Smoke onstage at a Christmas show in 2015.

Tickets for the Smokin' Mule Tour are on sale now via Gov't Mule's website. In June, Gov't Mule will play Mountain Jam 2016.
