Why We Dig Them: Bart Crow and his band approach their roots-influenced country rock with brutal honesty and intensity. On their latest album, 'Heartworn Tragedy,' Bart sounds like a guy who's seen and done it all. An Army vet who completed training at Fort Knox, that experience gave him plenty to write about. They've made some noise on the Texas music charts, but that's nothing compared to the noise from the wild, rambunctious crowds at the band's nearly 200 live shows a year.
