John Mellencamp, Wanda Jackson to Perform at 2010 Americana Awards
The Americana Honors and Awards ceremony is one week away, and the event's star power continues to rise.
John Mellencamp and Wanda Jackson, who are both recipients of this year's Lifetime Achievement Award, will perform during the evening's festivities. They join an eclectic line-up of talent including Emmylou Harris, the Avett Brothers, Rodney Crowell, Rosanne Cash, Patty Griffin, Ryan Bingham and Sam Bush, among others.
Presenters for the star-studded night include Grace Potter, Lucinda Williams, Jack White and Mary Chapin Carpenter, as well as Court Yard Hounds, sisters Emily Robinson and Martie McGuire. The show, which will be presided over by returning host and past AMA winner, Jim Lauderdale, will also include an all-star band directed by Buddy Miller.
