Lady Antebellum Prom Contest: High Schoolers Compete for a Lady A Prom Performance

How cool would it be to have Lady Antebellum play at your prom? Well, one lucky school is going to find out. The trio are offering a contest to win a 45-minute performance for any existing prom event -- junior, senior or even reunions -- to the most creative fan.

You can 'Own the Night' by submitting a YouTube video that explains why you and your hometown should have the group participate in your dance. Lady A wants to see it all: your school, your community and what their attendance will mean to your night. Submissions will be judged 50 percent on creativity, 20 percent on originality, 20 percent on event/school/town pride and 10 percent on video quality.

Lady A recently released their latest music video, 'Dancin' Away With My Heart,' which includes each member's memory of their first dance. Dave Haywood says that his 7th grade heart was racing as he hit the dance floor to Garth Brooks' 'The Dance,' while Hillary Scott recalls a "goofy, fun" dance as a five-year-old with her father, and Charles Kelley remembers cutting a rug to Tim McGraw's 'Don't Take the Girl' in middle school.

All entries must be submitted by March 16, and the winner will be announced March 20. In addition to a performance, the winner will receive two meet-and-greet passes for the band prior to the event, and free admission to all prom event guests.

In other Lady A news, the trio have partnered with Lipton in support of their new Tea & Honey iced tea mixes. "All three of us grew up drinking Lipton tea, and we always have a well stocked supply on the bus," Hillary explains. "Plus, we love the 'Drink Positive' message and are excited about connecting with our fans on a whole new level through this campaign." The threesome will appear in print, TV, radio, digital ads.
