Luke Bryan, Lady AntebellumLuke Bryan and Lady Antebellum's Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley were feted at a party Tuesday night in Nashville for Luke's No. 1 hit, 'Do I," which the three co-wrote together.

The guys kicked the celebration off with an acoustic version of the song, with Luke and Charles trading lead vocals and Dave on guitar. There were a couple of famous faces in the crowd of well-wishers, including Chuck Wicks and Keith Anderson, and even Luke's son, Bo, joined in the festivities, going up to the stage several times as his father received trophies and plaques signifying the accomplishment.

Luke was fully prepared for the song not to top the charts, so he had started planning an alternate celebration. "[Lady Antebellum's] 'Need You Now' sat at No. 1 for so long, and 'Do I' was at No. 2. I didn't think I was gonna get ... I even had a call from the president of the label saying that 'Do I' was not gonna go No. 1," says Luke. "I knew we were throwing a party, so I was gonna call it a No. 2 party, and I was gonna require everybody to bring bathroom attire -- bathrobes, newspaper, candles, matches, toilet paper."

Luke even had the place picked out for the No. 2 bash. "I was gonna have it at a manure farm outside of town. It was gonna be a blast."

We're sure it would have been a blast, and probably pretty pungent, as well.

Charles, being one-third of the team behind the song, revealed they sometimes do Luke's chart-topper in their own live shows. "We have a little moment where we strip it down and we do a couple of acoustic songs, and one of them is 'Do I,'" explains Charles. "It's always bittersweet, because the biggest reaction of the night we get is from 'Do I.' It's hilarious."

"'Cause y'all sing it better than me!" Luke interjects, as Charles shakes his head no, and adds, "It's funny to see how truly powerful that song has been and how the country fans have just gravitated towards it. They sing back every word when we do it, and so I know it's only times 10 when Luke's up there."

Luke has just released his new single, 'Rain Is a Good Thing,' while Lady Antebellum is climbing the charts with their new hit 'American Honey.'
