Wynonna heads to New York this week to make the media rounds in support of her upcoming novel, 'Restless Heart.' The fictional book from the singer chronicles the struggles and triumphs of Destiny Hart, a woman who is on a path of self-discovery, grappling with love, loss, success and surrender.

"I wanted to tell a story of a young woman with her life unfolding before her, facing incredible challenges and incredible opportunities, and making good decisions," Wynonna explains.

Restless Heart hits shelves January 25 and will be available anywhere books are sold. That same day, Wynonna can be seen on several programs: NBC's 'Today' show and 'Access Hollywood,' as well as the syndicated 'The Joy Behar Show' (click here for local listings).
