Brothers Osborne Win Vocal Duo of the Year at 2017 ACM Awards
Brothers Osborne have won Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards!
"Oh my God, what the hell!" TJ and John Osborne exclaimed while accepting the award. The shock on their faces was coupled with pure joy, and they asked, "How is this happening right now?" They added that they have "the best seats in the house," thanked their parents -- "They believed in us from the time we were babies" -- and concluded with a rowdy" God bless country music!"
The Brothers Osborne are enjoying a growing country career, and their 2017 ACM New Vocal Duo of the Year win -- which breaks Florida Georgia Line's streak of three wins in a row -- is indicative of their success. They recently received a nomination for Best Country Duo / Group Performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards and earned a Vocal Duo of the Year win at the 2016 CMA Awards. Their debut album, Pawn Shop, and songs such as “Stay a Little Longer” and “It Ain’t My Fault” have helped them gain a larger fan base (their first-ever headlining tour was also a factor).
Other nominees for Single of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards included Big & Rich, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line and Maddie & Tae.
