Vince Gill and his wife, Christian recording artist Amy Grant, married in an intimate outdoor ceremony in 2000. Their union brought their four children together under one roof -- and the songstress admits it wasn't all smooth sailing.

"I laugh about our wedding day, because all of our photographs, I refer to my grim-faced children," Grant reveals on the 'Katie' show. "But really, Vince and I were the only excited ones."

Grant already had three children from her marriage to Gary Chapman, while Gill had a daughter from his marriage to Sweethearts of the Rodeo singer Janis Oliver. Thankfully, Grant says they have all become one happy, blended family, but she admits it took time. "It feels like we all are welcome," she says of their current relationship status. "That's how it feels."

Gill, who weathered plenty of public scrutiny as their relationship unfolded in the tabloids more than 14 years ago, credits Grant with keeping their home life stable.  He says the birth of their child together, 12-year-old Corrina, was the turning point for their family. “[Amy is] the glue of this whole family,” he boasts. “She bonded all of us in a blood way that really did connect us."

The happy couple, who decided to abandon their usual elaborate holiday tour this year in order to spend more time with their family, will play Christmas shows in Atlanta, Ga., Cincinnati, Ohio and Nashville. Tickets are available here.
