After Sunday's big win over the Boston Red Sox, the Tampa Bay Rays have made it to the 2008 World Series of baseball, where they'll take on Tim McGraw's beloved Philadelphia Phillies. McGraw's late father, Tug McGraw, pitched for the Phillies the last time they took home the national championship.

"'80 was the only World Series they've ever won when Tug was pitching," McGraw boasts to Dial-Global. "It's pretty cool. My little brother Mark lives in Philadelphia, and then my other little brother Matthew lives in Kentucky, so we're gonna try to all get together and catch a game. Matthew is 10 ... and he actually played in the Kentucky state team that was involved in the Little League World Series this year."

McGraw, who has been watching the playoffs closely, is confident his Phillies will win the series.

"I think [the] Phillies are definitely looking like the strongest team," he says. "Although Tampa Bay is really nailing the ball. But they're facing American League pitching so how hard can that be?"
