Who doesn't think Tim McGraw's music is cool? Raise your hands. There would probably be only four hands held high in the air about now ... and that would include Tim (yes, you read that right) and his three daughters (Gracie, 13, Maggie, 12, and Audrey, 9).

In the June issue of Good Housekeeping magazine, Tim admits that he's "not cool enough" in his daughters' eyes. "My girls don't like my music," confesses Tim. "They like Beyoncé, the Jonas Brothers and Ne-Yo." I have to say, my girls have pretty good taste in music. Heck, I don't like listening to me either. I'm a '70s rock guy."

Other revelations Tim shared with the magazine:

My housekeeping style is ... not good. I am not a housekeeper at all. It's both lucky and unlucky that I have a wife and daughters who are very neat and organized. I like the house that way, but because they are neat freaks and always tidy up, it makes me worse.

I know I'm in trouble on a house project when ... I don't pick up the phone to hire someone to do it. If I ever start a house project, there's trouble. I worked construction when I was in college, and the day I got my first check for singing, that was over.

The one thing I always do around the house is ... take out the garbage.

The one thing I never do around the house is ... wash dishes.

My favorite date night with my wife is ... dinner and a movie, usually with John and Martina McBride. That's our favorite thing to do.

My favorite time of the day is ... first thing in the morning. I like taking the kids to school every day, and the time we spend together before school, when everyone is up and talking about our day to come, is just priceless.

Our favorite Saturday activity is ... to not set the alarm clock on Friday night, then hang out all day watching football. It's best if it's a cloudy, rainy day, because then we just hibernate, cook lunch at home, cook dinner, and just hang together.

My parenting secret weapon is ... easy! Their mother! I just always defer to her. She is raising me too. She's really got four kids. She just looks at me, and it's like, "Yes, ma'am!"

Tim's Southern Voice tour continues, hitting Spokane, Wash., on Thursday, May 20, Seattle, May 21, and Portland, Ore. on Saturday, May 22.
