The Lacs are back with new music and a brand-new tour. The duo, made up of Clay ‘Uncle Snap’ Sharpe and Brian ‘Rooster’ King, have released a new single, 'God Bless a Country Girl,' in advance of their Outlaw in Me 2015 Tour, which kicks off Friday night (Feb. 6) in Virginia.

“Country girls are the best,” Sharpe says. “These are the kind of girls we grew up with, and we’re happy to honor them in this song.”

Adds King, "This is a song that brings the country out in every girl, no matter where she lives."

The Lacs, who released their latest album, 'Nothing in Particular,' in October, work hard to combine all of their favorite music into one unique sound -- and it seems to work perfectly for them.

“Our music is not one dimensional,” Sharpe says. “We take the good out of rock, the good out of country and the good out of rap and mix them together and create something different. We build from scratch."

The guys, who both had a hand in co-writing 'God Bless a Country Girl,' say they tried to make the new song stand out above the rest.

"It's not like everybody else's country girl song," Sharpe tells AXS-TV. "It's got a good, easy-listening feel to it. It's the song that will appeal to the broadest audience for us."
