On Wednesday night (Oct. 21) in Greensboro, N.C., Miranda Lambert joined Taylor Swift at her 1989 World Tour show to surprise the crowd with a performance of "Little Red Wagon."

Make some noise, guys, ‘cause Miranda Lambert is here!" Swift told the audience, eliciting a shriek of approval from those filling the Greensboro Coliseum, before her special guest appeared, clad in a glittery "1989" shirt and dark pants.

The two blondes belted out the sassy tune, from Lambert's latest album, Platinum, and worked the stage throughout the song. Press play on the Instagram videos below to see snippets of their performance.

Lambert is Swift's ninth country 1989 World Tour special guest. Most recently, at one of the country-turned-pop superstar's two shows in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Keith Urban joined her onstage for two songs, "John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16" and "Somebody Like You."

Other artists who have served as Swift's special guest include Kelsea Ballerini, Alison Krauss and Steven Tyler all in Nashville; Dierks Bentley in Kansas City, Mo.; the Band Perry in Indianapolis, Ind.; the Dixie Chicks‘ Natalie Maines at one of Swift’s Los Angeles stops; Sam Hunt in Chicago; and Little Big Town in Pittsburgh.

The U.S. leg of Swift’s 1989 World Tour will come to an end on Oct. 31.
