Taylor Swift was the guest of honor at a party at Nashville's Hard Rock Café on Friday (January 28). Family, friends, bandmembers and music industry executives gathered to celebrate her many career successes under the banner of "Heavy Metal at the Hard Rock."

When the 21-year-old superstar entered the party in a polka-dot dress and red pumps, she hugged and chatted with many of the party's attendees before the head of her record label, Scott Borchetta, climbed on stage to begin the numerous presentations that would last more than 30 minutes.

Among the many awards presented were several for the No. 1 success of Taylor's 'Mine' single and video, as well as the triple-platinum success of her current album, 'Speak Now,' which sold more than one-million copies the first week of release -- the biggest debut-week sales for an album since 2005. Taylor also received a plaque from the Recording Industry Association of America commemorating total shipments of more than 13 million records. Other presentations were made by BMI, Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Country Aircheck, Music Row magazine, Country Radio Broadcasters, the Country Music Association, Universal Music Group Distribution, Nielsen SoundScan, CMT and GAC.

Since launching her career in 2006 when her debut single 'Tim McGraw' hit the charts, Taylor has achieved many musical milestones, including selling in excess of 20-million albums worldwide and 35-million song downloads. For the second time in three years, she is Billboard and Nielsen SounScan's top-selling artist of the year, with more than 4.4 million albums sold in 2010. She is the top-selling digital artist in music history with more than 25 million tracks sold to date. Her self-titled debut album is five-times platinum, while her sophomore effort, 'Fearless,' is now quadruple platinum.

After the presentations took place, the star of the party was called up on stage to say a few words. The singer-songwriter was nearly speechless with all of the accolades and speeches about her, but the first thing she did explain to the crowd was how happy she was at that moment.

"I love this town. I love this beautiful industry, and I love that you showed up for us tonight!" exclaimed Taylor. "Thank you! Thank you! I just love you, and I'm having so much fun. Thank you for being the reason I get to!

"I got to make a really personal record this time around, and last time around and the time before that [crowd laughs], but I think that this is the most personal album that I've made so far," Taylor added, referring to her latest album, 'Speak Now.' "And to be able to make really personal music allows me to have a really personal relationship with my fans. They're my friends. I'm looking forward to getting back on the road because at every single fan meet-and-greet that we do every night, I have groups of girls come up to me with their cell phones and say, 'Look what my ex-boyfriend just texted me!' [crowd laughs] I love that they're my friends and that we understand each other, and we're allowed to understand each other because I'm allowed to make the kind of music that I want to make, and that's due to a lot of people who are here [tonight].

"We're about to do some crazy traveling, because we're about to start the Asia and Europe tour, so I've been brushing up on my Japanese, Korean, Italian, Spanish, German and French for talking to the crowd in-between songs," Taylor added. "I'm really excited about it, and then we come back and go on the U.S. tour. It's going to be a really busy year, but I'm more than excited about that, and we get to do this because of the people in the room."

The songbird also called her producer, Nathan Chapman, over to her side, and revealed to the throng of well-wishers that he is going to be a father! Nathan's wife is four-and-a-half months pregnant with the couple's first child.

Having received all of these plaques and awards, Taylor will have to be a bit creative where she puts them. "I don't know what I'm going to do with all these plaques," she said following the party. "I don't have enough wall space for them, but I love them. I'll figure it out. I'm already brainstorming."

Taylor even took to her Twitter page late Friday night to thank her fans for supporting her latest album, 'Speak Now.' "We all got dressed up and went to a party tonight where lots of wonderful people gave me and my producer Nathan shiny plaques -- we high fived," Taylor wrote. "To anyone who welcomed 'Speak Now' into your life, you're the reason we got to celebrate tonight. Thankyouthankyouthankyouuuu."

Taylor is set to play 90 shows in 19 countries during her upcoming Speak Now World tour, which launches February 9 in Singapore.
