Neal McCoy had one of the most memorable sets of Country Jam 2016, but before he took the stage on Saturday (June 18), he led thousands in attendance with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Acting as his own hype man, Neal McCoy introduced himself to the Country Jam 2016 crowd as the Entertainer of the Year from every conceivable country music awards organization (and then some) for 15 years running.

Neal McCoy says the Pledge of Allegiance every day, and he tries to include his friends and fellow country musicians whenever he can. Not surprisingly, no one has ever said no.

Two dozen country artists played to more than 50,000 country-loving fans during the three-day Taste of Country Music Festival over the weekend weekend.

Neal McCoy is mourning the loss of his stepdad, Don McCoy, who passed away on Saturday night (Aug. 22), after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's disease.
