2012 CRS New Faces Lineup Revealed
The Country Radio Broadcasters (CRB) have announced the lineup of performers for the 2012 New Faces show, one of the most anticipated events of the annual Country Radio Seminar (CRS). Sunny Sweeney, Hunter Hayes, the Eli Young Band, Thompson Square and David Nail will all take the stage on Friday, Feb. 24, at the Nashville Convention Center. The appearance on the coveted stage is a welcome invitation for rising artists, who often see their already hot careers sky-rocket following their appearance in front of a crowd of radio industry professionals.
The New Faces show, which caps off the three-day seminar, has been at least partially credited for kick-starting the careers of several well-known acts, including Rascal Flatts, Billy Currington, Lady Antebellum, the Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins, Brooks & Dunn, Reba McEntire, Alabama and LeAnn Rimes.
"The future of Country radio happens every twenty minutes on the New Faces of Country Music Show!" says New Faces Committee Chair John Crenshaw. "Radio has spoken clearly with this year's wonderful lineup of Hunter Hayes, David Nail, Sunny Sweeney, Thompson Square and Eli Young Band for the crown jewel of CRS 2012."
Registration for the seminar is available here. Tickets must be purchased in advance for the New Faces Show.
