Sugarland’s ‘Stay’ is ACM’s Single and Song of Year

Sugarland might need a bigger trophy case. The duo takes home the ACM trophy for Single Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their tearjerker, 'Stay.' Lead singer Jennifer Nettles thanked their label, Mercury Records, for taking a chance on an unconventional song.

It means so much that you accept this song. When we came to you and said, 'Hey, let's put a song without drums on the radio,' you said, 'Sure!'

Nettles and partner Kristian Bush debuted their brand-new single, 'All I Want To Do' on the show. It's the first song from their upcoming album, due in August.
