Scotty McCreery rang in the holidays with his old friends this week, participating in a special show at his high school. Looking dapper in a tuxedo, the 'Trouble With Girls' singer gave a wonderful baritone homage to George Strait's holiday hit, 'Christmas Cookies,' at North Carolina's Garner High School, as classmates clapped along to the beat. (Watch his performance below.)

Scotty's been in the Christmas mood since his taping of Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade, which will air Dec. 25. He also sang at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade last month. The 'American Idol' winner will take a short break for the holidays before heading out as an opening act on Brad Paisley's Camobunga tour. Also featuring the Band Perry, the trek kicks off on Jan. 12 in Grand Rapids, Mich. See a list of tour dates here.
