Scotty McCreery continues to reign on Billboard's Country Albums chart, scoring the top-selling country album for the second consecutive week. With 88,000 albums sold in just the past week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, Scotty has now logged total sales of 285,000 copies of his debut disc. On the Billboard 200, the album drops three spots to No. 4 after having topped the all-genre chart last week.

In a scenario that conjures up a bit of teenage deja vu, the second-place album on the country chart is Lauren Alaina's 'Wildflower.' The disc makes its chart debut at No. 2, mirroring the results 'American Idol' champ Scotty and runner-up Lauren experienced on that show last May. Lauren's album sold 69,000 copies in its first week, enough to place her at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.

Following her historic train ride across America, Martina McBride bows at No. 4 on the country chart with 'Eleven,' which sold 40,000 copies. Her last album, 'Shine' topped the chart in 2009. Coming in at No. 7 this week is the self-titled debut album from Hunter Hayes. Even though the two young 'Idol's held them back, Lady Antebellum only dropped a single spot to No. 3 with 'Own the Night.' The biggest jump up on the chart should perhaps be no surprise, as the 'Footloose' movie soundtrack jumps from No. 28 to No. 6, in anticipation of the film's nationwide release last Friday (Oct. 14). Hunter, who is also on the 'Footloose' soundtrack, is therefore the only act represented by two albums in the Top 10.

Jason Aldean continues his double-platinum 'My Kinda Party,' staying in the Top 10 at No. 7. The remainder of the Top 10 are: Luke Bryan's 'Tailgates & Tanlines' (No. 8), Rodney Atkins' 'Take a Back Road' (No. 9) and Brantley Gilbert's 'Halfway to Heaven,' which has now sold in excess of 250,000 copies since its release.

Meanwhile, tonight's a big night for chart champ Scotty McCreery. He's performing the national anthem for game one of the World Series, airing tonight on FOX.
