Two country music superstars are teaming up to offer help to police officers and fire fighters in need. Ronnie Milsap and Trace Adkins are featured together on 'My First Ride,' due out Sept. 1. It's the first single from a new Ronnie Milsap compilation released on the BLEVE label.

The label has aligned with the Fraternal Order of Police and the International Association of Fire Fighters to market music to benefit police officers, fire fighters and their families in the United States and Canada who have suffered financial hardship in the wake of natural or man-made disasters, including floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, fires or civil disturbances.

"I admire what police officers and firefighters do every day for this country," says Ronnie, "I want to help in any way I can."

A portion of the revenue from Ronnie and Trace's single will be donated to the IAFF and the FOP disaster relief funds. These funds have been utilized in the past to aid fire fighters and police officers and their families following the Sept. 11 attacks and hurricanes Ivan, Katrina, Rita, Wilma and others.
