Pistol Annie's Angaleena Presley has announced plans to release her own solo album this fall. The songstress will release her new set of tunes, which she is producing, on Slate Creek Records.

"Part of what I loved about Garth Fundis and Jim Burnett at Slate Creek is that they understood where I wanted to go creatively," she explains. "Producing this album was important to me because of its content. I've lived every word of it and knew exactly how I wanted it to sound."

"We could not be happier about Angaleena joining our Slate Creek team and giving us the opportunity to release her remarkable solo debut," Slate Creek's President and Creative Director Fundis adds. "From the first listen, we knew we wanted to be a part of this and can hardly wait for others to hear what she has created. Angaleena is both poet and artist in the truest sense of those words."

Pistol Annies, which also includes Miranda Lambert and Ashley Monroe, have released two albums -- 'Hell on Heels' in 2011 and 'Annie Up' in 2013. The trio abruptly canceled their tour after the release of 'Annie Up,' and though Monroe denies that they have broken up, she also released her own solo album, 'Like a Rose,' last year, and Presley has not been seen with her two band mates since their tour was canceled.

Still, Presley remains in good company. She joins songstress Brandy Clark on the Slate Creek Records roster. A track listing and release date for the upcoming project have not yet been announced.
