Music artists who embrace social media platforms are being honored at the upcoming O Music Awards 2 ceremony, with Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift representing the country genre during the Oct. 31 awards show.

With the support of her legion of loyal followers, affectionately referred to as the Taylor Nation, the young singer is nominated in the Fan ARMY FTW ('For the Win') category, going head-to-head with pop heavyweights Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Adam Lambert, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Demi Lovato, Tokio Hotel, Insane Clown Posse and Iron Maiden. The 'Sparks Fly' singer has won nearly every fan-voted award for which she has been nominated, including the CMT Award for Video of the Year for her No. 1 single 'Mine' in June.

Though his tweets have been deemed too racy by many, Blake is nominated in the Must-Follow Artist on Twitter category, rounding out an eclectic group of nominees including Lady Gaga, Cher, Snoop Dogg and Mark Hoppus (of band Blink 182).

Despite the recent nomination, the 'God Gave Me You' singer tells tells the New York Times that there was once talks of closing his account indefinitely. "There was a point where Warner [Bros., his record label] was like, 'We've got to get Blake off Twitter, because he can't say these type of things.'"

Dolly is nominated for Best Vintage Viral Video for her performance of 'Jolene' on 'That Good Ole Nashville Music,' a syndicated TV program that featured country artists singing their biggest hits. Hosted by country singer Dave Dudley, the show aired from 1970 to 1985. The iconic country singer is nominated alongside vintage video clips from Nirvana, Metallica, Notorious B.I.G. and Sinead O'Connor.

Voting for the digital music culture celebration begins today (Sept. 27), with the final nominees being announced Oct. 6. Aside from the pre-selected nominees, fans are encouraged to write-in their favorites and rally support before the final announcement.

Celebrating the best in all digital music, the second annual O Music Awards will stream live online at OMusicAwards.com on Halloween night, Oct. 31.
