We've heard the cast of ABC's Nashville sing from the comfort of our own homes, as they perform week after week on the TV show, but now, several of the show's biggest stars are hitting the road for a spring concert tour.

Clare Bowen, Chris Carmack, Charles Esten, Aubrey Peeples and Lennon & Maisy are set to play eight shows in New York, California, Illinois and other states in late April and throughout May. Fellow cast member Sam Palladio will join the tour in New York and Los Angeles, and another Nashville star, Jonathan Jackson, will appear in Chicago.

“It is so exciting and rewarding to see our amazing cast blossom as live artists and be able to have that intimate relationship with our Nashville fans,” says Dawn Soler, senior vice president of TV music at ABC Entertainment Group. "Taking Nashville on the road, along with our On the Record series, offers our viewers a complete and authentic experience.”

Each of the artists on the tour will perform songs from the award-winning TV show. The Nashville cast toured in a similar fashion last spring, and it went so well that they decided to do it again this year.

"We were truly energized last year by the fervor and passion we experienced on the road,” adds Steve Buchanan, president of Opry Entertainment, the company that is producing the tour. "We have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to once again share the exceptional talents of our cast with fans from coast to coast. They are all rare individuals that excel as actors, musicians, songwriters and performers.”

The cast performed at the Grand Ole Opry earlier this year, in a one-night-only performance, Nashville: On the Record, during which they got to play some of their own songs as well. For Bowen and Palladio, who are both releasing solo albums this year, the time on the hallowed stage was especially meaningful.

“I’ve met some wonderful people who are generous with their time and creativity," Bowen says of her project, which is being produced by T Bone Burnett (who also served as the show's executive music producer for Season 1). "That’s the way Nashville is as a city.”

Fans can see footage from that event during Nashville: On the Record 2, which is set to air on March 25 at 10PM ET on ABC.
