August is shaping up to be a hot month of new country releases from a wide variety of artists.

The music kicks off Aug. 5, when Sunny Sweeney will release her highly personal new album, 'Provoked.' Legendary singer-songwriter Billy Joe Shaver will also release his latest, 'Long in the Tooth,' which he says is the best album he's ever made, and Shooter Jennings is set to drop 'Don't Wait Up (For George),' a tribute to George Jones.

Newcomer Joel Crouse is set to release his debut album, 'Even the River Runs,' on Aug. 19. That's the same day Cory Branan's 'The No-Hit Wonder' will arrive, along with 'Nashville Outlaws: A Tribute to Motley Crue,' which features acts as diverse as Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert and even Rascal Flatts. Chase Rice will also release 'Ignite the Night' on the 19th.

Celebrated Americana duo Shovels & Rope are slated to drop their new album, 'Swimmin' Time,' on Aug. 26, and Brad Paisley's latest, 'Moonshine in the Trunk,' is also set to arrive that day.
