Vote for the Most Anticipated Album of April 2016
New music won't be quite as plentiful in April of 2016 as it was in March, but there are still seven new releases that country, Americana and folk fans can look forward to as spring begins.
April 1 may be April Fools' Day, but Robbie Fulks' new album, Upland Stories, is no joke. The 12-track record will be the month's first new disc, along with Levi Hummon's self-titled debut EP. The following week, on April 8, Hayes Carll will release his new project, Lovers and Leavers.
On April 15, Sturgill Simpson's highly anticipated new album, A Sailor's Guide to Earth, is set for release, while April 22 will bring new music from Josh Kelley, New Lane Road.
April's final two new releases come on the 29th, when Martina McBride will debut Reckless and Lonestar's Never Enders will hit the shelves.
Which of April's new records are you most excited to hear? Vote for your pick in the poll below; you can vote as often as once per hour through the end of the month (March 31 at 11:59PM ET). The disc with the most votes will be named The Boot's April 2016 Album of the Month.
