With three nominations, Miranda Lambert is gearing up for this year's Grammy Awards, where she is scheduled to perform on the live broadcast. While she may be suffering from a few nerves, the sassy songstress will showcase why she is up for several gramophone trophies when she takes the stage in front of some of music's top stars.

"I'm really excited about performing on the Grammys. It's my first time," Miranda tells The Boot. "It's not just country. It's all of American music put together. I feel so proud to be there because I am representing country, and I just want to do it justice. I want people to know that we're cool! [laughs]"

Miranda is nominated for Female Country Vocal Performance for 'The House That Built Me,' Country Collaboration with Vocals for 'Bad Angel' with Dierks Bentley and Jamey Johnson and Country Album for 'Revolution.' Her No. 1 hit, 'The House That Built Me,' written by Tom Douglas and Allen Shamblin, may also take home two more awards for Best Country Song and the all-genre Song of the Year.

The country superstar recognizes how prestigious the Grammy Awards show is, and how important it is for all involved. "I'm glad that I get to be a part of all this," Miranda told MTV after her performance on the 'Grammy Nominations Concert Live! - Countdown to Music's Biggest Night.' "Grammys are cool because it's one room and all these artists and one night to celebrate all kinds of music, and for the people in the industry to acknowledge the talent in the room. It's so cool to be in that room and feel that energy. It's just crazy, because music is what drives us all."

Lady Antebellum, nominated for an impressive six Grammys, are also scheduled to perform live on the show, while Miranda's fiancé, Blake Shelton, and pal Dierks Bentley will present.

Meanwhile, Miranda is in Nashville to celebrate the recent platinum certification (one-million albums sold) of her latest album, 'Revolution.' She celebrated at her record label, Sony Music Nashville, on Thursday and will be the guest-of-honor at a special party tonight in Music City, surrounded by industry friends.

The 53rd Annual Grammy Awards telecast will air live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles February 13 from 8:00 PM - 11:30 PM (ET/PT) on CBS.
