Readers can press play above to watch Bryan's "Fast" video. Clips of the singer, seated on a stool on the stage of an empty theater, performing the song are interspersed with sweeping shots of photos taken throughout Bryan's life. Pictures from Bryan's childhood and early in his career accompany the song's first verse and chorus, while the second chorus -- "Fast / That's what your parents said when we were falling in love / It's too fast / There ain't no way the two of us were ever gonna last / But we did, and here we are" -- finds the camera focusing on photos of Bryan and wife Caroline's wedding day, then on pictures of their family.
By the end of the "Fast" music video, viewers are looking at pictures of Bryan onstage with his band and crew, performing in front of massive crowds and winning a CMA. As the song ends, the camera pans over a few final shots of Bryan with his friends and family.
“[It’s] my family: being with my children and seeing them experience life, and seeing their innocence, and seeing how every day’s a good day for them,” Bryan says of what makes him happy. “I draw a lot of my energy from the people around me. I’m a people person.”
Bryan first shared “Fast” in June of 2015, during his annual fan club party at the 2015 CMA Music Festival; he wrote the song with Rodney Clawson and Luke Laird. Prior to releasing the "Fast" music video, Bryan shared a sweet behind-the-scenes clip from the set: He's on the phone with his son, Bo, listening to him explain how he asked out a girl.
Bryan is currently out on the road on the 2017 leg of his Kill the Lights Tour; later this year, he will begin his summertime Huntin', Fishin' and Lovin' Every Day Tour. Additionally, Bryan has headlining sets at the 2017 Tortuga Music Festival and WE Fest 2017 on his calendar.
