Luke Bryan Debuts New Song During 2015 CMA Music Festival [WATCH]
Luke Bryan shared a brand-new song, "Fast," with his most loyal fans during his annual fan club party at the 2015 CMA Music Festival.
The mid-tempo song contemplates the speed of life, with lines like "Fast, that's what your parents said when they were falling in love / It's too fast, there ain't no way the two of us are gonna last / But it did, and here we are, and our only problem is... You're trying to make the good times last as you can / That's ok / It just goes too fast."
The song is presumably from his upcoming album, Kill the Lights, which will be released on August 7. The debut single from the new set of tunes, "Kick the Dust Up," is already in the Top 5 on the charts.
“We love the crowd reaction to it, and I cannot wait to be able to share more new music this summer," Bryan says. "It’s been two years since we’ve had a new album, and I don’t think I’ve been this eager yet to get it out to the fans.”
Kill the Lights, which Bryan hints has a "big" collaboration on it, represents the culmination of his hard work over the last several years.
“It’s got new sounds, stuff that I haven’t done, but it’s also got some really, really country stuff on it to that kind of solidifies what I’m about and what I love. So I feel like I covered all my bases.”
The Georgia native is currently crossing the country on his 2015 Kick the Dust Up Tour, which heads to Oklahoma, Kansas and Minneapolis this week. A list of all of his upcoming shows, with ticket and venue information, is available at LukeBryan.com.
