Luke Bryan is nominated for four trophies going into the American Country Awards, which air live from Las Vegas on Monday, December 6. He is up for Artist of the Year - Male; Album of the Year for 'Doin' My Thing,' Single of the Year - Male and overall Single of the Year for 'Do I.'

While the Georgia native has been nominated several times and made numerous awards show appearances, Luke does not have any pre-show rituals. But looking back on last year's ACM Awards in Las Vegas, he thinks he may need to start one with his wife, Caroline. "My wife and I got to spend a little time together," he explains to The Boot of his last ACM jaunt. "For some reason, we were ready a little ways out from the red carpet, and we just sat in the hotel room watching TV. Maybe we need to start that tradition -- we should just leave about two hours before every awards show to just sit and talk."

Win or lose, Luke is just happy to not be sitting on the sidelines watching all of the action taking place. "I look back and to be nominated and in the game and to be an important part of these awards shows [means a lot]," he admits.

Luke, who can be found gracing his first Country Weekly cover this week, hits the stage in Crystal River, Fla., December 11, a few days following his performance on the ACA Awards, which will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Monday, December 6 from 8 - 10PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX.
