Little Big Town definitely needed to touch up their makeup after their performance of their latest single, 'Day Drinking,' at last night's 2014 CMT Music Awards.

The group started out on stage dressed in all white, as was their band and the backing drumline. But towards the end of the song, band member Karen Fairchild warned, "We're about to have a little fun," as colorful neon paint sprayed all over them.

'Day Drinking' is the first single from their upcoming new album, which is the follow-up to their No. 1, platinum-selling 'Tornado' record.

“There’s more pressure, but there’s more confidence, too,” band member Kimberly Schlapman notes. “Because we did have a very successful record, so we know we can do it, but there’s pressure to do that again.”

It's a big week for LBT. The quartet, which also includes Jimi Westbrook and Phillip Sweet, are serving as the hosts for this week's annual CMA Music Fest, which kicks off today (June 5). The TV special with their behind-the-scenes footage will air on 'Country's Night to Rock' on ABC on Aug. 5.

The foursome will spend much of the summer on the road, including stops in Florida, North Carolina and Oklahoma. You can find a list of all of their upcoming concerts here and download 'Day Drinking' here.
