Lady Antebellum Postpone Tour Date Due to Winter Weather

After enjoying some time at home over the holidays, Lady Antebellum were ready to kick off the 2011 leg of their Need You Now tour in Thackerville, Okla., on February 4 -- but Mother Nature had other plans. The trio made the difficult decision to postpone the show, after a winter storm ravaged the state.

"We hate ever having to reschedule a tour date, especially our first date in 2011," lead singer Charles Kelley tells Country Aircheck. "We have to be concerned about the safety of our fans traveling to and from the concert, so we're rescheduling for June when we know snow and ice won't be able to keep us away!"

They aren't the only trio who had to cancel a show on that date. Rascal Flatts were scheduled to appear in New Orleans on February 4, but postponed that show due to bad weather as well. The trio will announce a new date for that show later in the tour.

Lady A's new Oklahoma show is scheduled for June 2. Their next performance will be on February 13, when they take the stage at the Grammy Awards. They will follow that with a performance at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, to benefit the W.O. Smith School of Music. Their regular tour continues on March 10 in Biloxi, Miss.
