In the "pay it forward" spirit of their latest video, 'I Run to You,' Lady Antebellum is participating in Earth Hour 2009 this Saturday, March 28. At their concert that night in Peoria, Arizona, the band will dim their stage lights during the performance of the current hit single, as individuals and communities around the world simultaneously turn off their lights at 8:30 PM local time to show their commitment to take action on climate change.

The trio has also signed on with the BRITA water filtration company and their FilterForGood campaign, in an effort to help reduce the number of disposable water bottles used by consumers.

Lady A's current 'Webisode Wednesday' on the group's YouTube channel is devoted to their environmentally-minded efforts.

"We are going to try and make small lifestyle changes now to pay it forward for people younger than us, like my little sister," says singer Hillary Scott, "so that they have a clean, healthy and safe environment to enjoy years from now."

Fans can take the FilterForGood pledge, and also purchase a reusable bottle like the ones the band uses, at the official FilterForGood website.

Lady A kicks off the Sun City Carnival Tour with Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert on April 17 in Uncasville, Connecticut.
