Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott were invited to a special tailgate party yesterday in Green Bay Packer land. The trio, in town to perform at tonight's (Sept. 8) NFL Kickoff Concert, stopped by the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon, Wis., to high-five several dozen of their pint-sized fans at the NFL Play 60 Youth Football event.

"Country music fans are big football fans, usually," Charles told reporters at the festivities. "It's just synonymous; it's why you have Hank Williams Jr. doing the 'Monday Night Football' theme. It's very American."

"It's a huge, huge deal," Hillary adds of their gridiron gig tonight. "Right up there with some of our biggest moments ... Especially coming off this off-season with the NFL in such limbo and fans not knowing what was going to happen with the NFL. There's a lot of anticipation in the air. We can definitely feel it."

The superstar country trio can expect some more big moments in the coming weeks. Their third studio album, 'Own the Night,' hits stores Sept. 13, followed by a headlining tour kicking off in November.

Joining Lady A for tonight's show at Green Bay's Lambeau Field will be Kid Rock and Maroon 5. Tonight's NFL matchup -- the first of the 2011-2012 regular season -- features the reigning Super Bowl Champion Packers taking on 2010's champs, the New Orleans Saints. You can watch the concert and game starting at 7:45 PM ET on NBC.
