Lady Antebellum's debut album spawned an impressive three Top 10 hits on the country singles charts, but fans might be surprised to hear the trio actually appeared near the top of another music chart before their CD was released. Two years ago, piano virtuoso Jim Brickman tapped the then-unknown Lady A to perform on his song, 'Never Alone.' The tune was a Top 20 adult contemporary hit.

Lady A is also featured in the 'Never Alone' video. Watch it after the jump.

'Never Alone' appears on Brickman's new compilation album, 'Ultimate Love Songs: The Very Best of Jim Brickman,' along with his smash duet with Martina McBride, 'Valentine,' and two new collaborations with country artists Shannon Brown and Stephanie Bentley. Jim tells Country Weekly magazine that he loves working with country artists and writing in Music City, and would still like to snag Trisha Yearwood, Ricky Skaggs, Wynonna and Ty Herndon for future collaborations. "Nashville is such a nurturing creative community," he says. "It's a wonderful environment, and there's so many things that I would like to do there. There's an energy about it."
